Videocon has launched its latest flagship smartphone Ultra50 in India. Priced at Rs 8,990, the smartphone comes in Space Grey and Golden colour options and will be available at all leading online and offline stores from first week of November. The company is also offering 18 months of warranty and 15 days replacement warranty with the device.
The handset comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor which is placed on the front panel and has a curved bezel design with glass finish on both sides. Videocon Ultra50 has a 5-inch HD screen with 720x1280 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a layer of Asahi Dragontrail Glass. The handset runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor.
The dual-SIM smartphone offers 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 64GB by using microSD card. It features a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies. It is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery and offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
Earlier this year, Videocon launched its Krypton3 V50JG smartphone with 4G VoLTE support at Rs 10,000. The smartphone features a 5-inch HD IPS screen and scratch-resistant Dragontrail X Glass. It is powered by MediaTek 64-Bit 1.3 GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB RAM and runs on Android 6.0 operating system.
The smartphone has a 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, Smart Wide Dynamic Range (SWDR) and Phase Detection Auto-focus (PDAF). The 5MP front camera also packs LED flash for clicking better selfies in low-light conditions.
Videocon Ultra50 comes pre-loaded with ErosNow app and offers a one-year free membership that gives users access to over 3,000 movies and music videos.
